Students have been experimenting with watercolors as a medium. They have chosen balanced photographs to create Animal Portraits. Last week students finished their sketches and will begin to layer colors this week.

Philosophy Jan 30-Feb 3

We are going to finish up our study of the ancient Greek philosophers- Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle. We are also going to focus on philosophical reasoning and understanding how we should create sound arguments. The development of an argument has been at the root of philosophy since the birth of the field over two thousand years ago.

When we finish up ancient Greek philosophy, we will study Eastern philosophy that emerged at the same time and understand the impact this has had on the development of Eastern and Western thought.
