March 29-April 1

This week we will focus on the cultural and social developments of the early 1900s. On Tuesday, we will review the WWI era and its impact on the United States. On Wednesday, we will discuss migration patterns in the US throughout the history that we have studied thus far, and then focusing on the Great Migration and its contribution to birth of the Harlem Renaissance. At the end of the week, we will understand the impact of the technologies of the time, but then the events that caused the Great Depression.

Political Science March 29-April 1

This week we are going to commit to learning the countries of this world, the capitals, the flags, and the world leaders. We have already created a presentation that should be shared with everyone. You are all responsible for completing this presentation and studying in the best way for your own learning styles. On Monday, you will be assessed on this information. You will be given a world map, a flag quiz, and a list of world leaders that you should be able to identify.

P.E Class this week March 29-April 1 , 2016

I Would like to remind parents to send your children dressed in an appropriate way for the days that they have P.E.class:

– No dresses for the girl

– No jeans

– No crocks

– No Sandals

– No boots

-No Converse(All Stars)

Children who are not wearnig the appropriate clothing will not be allowed to participate in P.E class.

Goals:  We will use the word R. E. S. P. E. C. T. to set the main goals for the year.

R – Right to Learn – Every child has this right to be educated!

E – Effort – Win or lose, trying is the most important trait.

S – Safety – The number one priority each and every day!

P – Purpose – Understanding how the activity can benefit you.

Eleventh Grade
